Happy PAT Sanctuary is more than just a shelter for rescued animals—it is a place of hope, love, and new beginnings. It stands as a tribute to Pat, who now watches over us from the heavens, seeing how her dream and mine are becoming reality.
This sanctuary would not have been possible without Pat’s daughter, Carol, whose generosity and belief in our mission have transformed this dream into something tangible. Carol, an adopter of dogs rescued by me, has played a crucial role in creating a safe haven for the hundreds of souls that have never known the security of a real home.
Thanks to the kindness of our supporters, we have successfully relocated approximately 100 dogs to the sanctuary. However, over 250 more are still waiting in harsh conditions, longing for the chance to experience safety and freedom. The fight is not over—we are working tirelessly to bring all of them to Happy PAT Sanctuary, where they will finally know what love, care, and freedom feel like.
Why Is Happy PAT Sanctuary So Important?
🐾 A refuge for the forgotten – Many of our rescued dogs are elderly, sick, or disabled, and they will stay with us forever. This sanctuary is their permanent home.
🐾 A new beginning for adoptable dogs – While we strive to find loving families for the sociable ones, some have been waiting for years in a kennel. The sanctuary will give them more space, freedom, and a better life.
🐾 A better future for all – Right now, the remaining dogs live in rented spaces, where conditions are extremely difficult, especially during winter. Happy PAT Sanctuary is their only hope for a safe and dignified life.
🐾 Education is the key to change – We aim to collaborate with schools to teach children about compassion, responsibility, and respect for animals, building a more humane future.
🐾 A veterinary clinic for those in need – In addition to the sanctuary, we plan to provide free spay/neuter services and medical treatments for pets whose owners cannot afford veterinary care, helping to reduce abandonment and suffering.
