You could make a huge difference with just a small effort for helping the stray cats from Romania struggling to survive and most ending hit by cars or poisoned . We are also trying to reduce the number of stray cats which became a huge problem in Romania spaying as many as possible.
Cats in our sponsorship programme are unlikely to be adopted to a loving forever home for different reasons – mainly because of diseases such as FIV and FeLV, which don’t allow them to live with healthy cats and require ongoing medical care. They will most likely spend the rest of their lives at our Sanctuary, where they are safe and well looked after.

SOS ARMS treats all animals in our care equally – whether sponsored or not. Your gift is used to help all the dogs and cats, including the one you have sponsored.
With hundreds of animals at our shelter, a gift of sponsorship is used to help all of them, including the dog/cat you have chosen to sponsor. In order to provide adequate care for all the animals, SOS ARMS allows a dog/cat to be sponsored by more than one person.
Upon sponsoring a dog or cat, you will receive a sponsorship certificate with a photograph of your chosen dog or cat. SOS ARMS encourages you to print and display your certificate. This is a great way to raise awareness about the plight of street dogs and cats in Romania . You will also receive updates about your sponsored dog or cat throughout the year.
