SOS ARMS provides permanent shelter to over a 350+ dogs and cares for many more every year providing medical care for owners with dogs from very poor areas.
Some of those dogs at our shelter require more time and attention than others. This can be for a variety of reasons, such as behavioural or medical issues.
By sponsoring a dog, not only you will change their life, but you’ll also change the lives of many others in desperate situations. Your support will ensure that these dogs receive the care they need and deserve.
When you join the Sponsor Club you will receive regular updates from your sponsor dog throughout the year. Your gift will mean everything to your sponsor dog, and the hundreds of other dogs in our care.
Your gift of sponsorship will help fund the shelter, food, medicine and veterinary care for dogs that have nowhere else to go and is used not only to help your sponsored dog but all the other animals SOS ARMS cares for.

SOS ARMS treats all animals in our care equally – whether sponsored or not. Your gift is used to help all the dogs and cats, including the one you have sponsored.
With hundreds of animals at our shelter, a gift of sponsorship is used to help all of them, including the dog/cat you have chosen to sponsor. In order to provide adequate care for all the animals, SOS ARMS allows a dog/cat to be sponsored by more than one person.
Upon sponsoring a dog or cat, you will receive a sponsorship certificate with a photograph of your chosen dog or cat. SOS ARMS encourages you to print and display your certificate. This is a great way to raise awareness about the plight of street dogs and cats in Romania . You will also receive updates about your sponsored dog or cat throughout the year.
